The Gazette is taking over Nassau Commons in Lewes to connect with community and have some FUN! The festivities are Saturday, May 10, starting at 9 AM and winding down at 4 PM.
The Fest kicks off with a Cape Gazette 5K. Runners earn post-race beers from Crooked Hammock and Dogfish Head at the finish line, as well as more post-race refreshments provided by Redners. All participants get an event shirt! Register early for discounts!
The Fest’s 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament will be held at Dave Marshall Tennis & Pickleball with Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles for 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0+ division brackets. All participants receive a tournament event shirt and TWO beer tickets! Register with a partner by May 5.
There is additional all-day FUN for all ages at the Nassau Commons including:
- Local Beer Garden with beer from 6 local breweries + cornhole competition
- Food Trucks
- Petting Zoo and Pony Rides
- Face Painting
- Bouncy House
- Makers’ Market - local vendors, artisans, and crafts
- Live Music with Lower Case Blues.
