On Saturday, April 15th, nearly 700 participants tasted their way through downtown Rehoboth during the first annual Harry K Foundation Chocolate Crawl.
Twenty-six restaurants and retailers created bite-sized chocolate surprises such as candy, a variety of baked goods, cocktails, brews, coffee, and ice cream to name a few. Volunteers from the Village Improvement Association (VIA), the Harry K Foundation, and the community assisted at each location to serve tasty treats to the “Crawlers.”
Each Crawler had one vote to select their favorite chocolate treat with trophies awarded for first, second, and third places.

First Place – Blue Moon: Cookies and Cream Cheesecake with Chocolate Ganache and Coco Sea, Salt Crumble plus a Death by Chocolate Martini
Second Place – The Ice Cream Store: Ice Cream Sundae with Accompanying Fun Homemade Treats
Third Place – Coho’s Market: Chocolate French Macaron with a Cabernet Chocolate Ganache
Trophies were awarded by Harry Keswani at the Harry K Jewelry Store, Atlantic Jewelry.
Congratulations to the winners and to all the participants who worked so hard to create special chocolate tastes for all to enjoy! You made the Chocolate Crawl a great success! Because of your commitment and participation in this event, we will be able to reach even more children faced with food insecurities in Delaware.
